MOSCOW, October 17 (RIA Novosti) - Brad Pitt missed his good friend George Clooney’s wedding ceremony due to the shooting of the new film “By the Sea”, which took place in Malta, the New Zealand Herald reports.
Unlike Clooney’s other famous friends who had travelled to Venice for the big day, Pitt was busy working on the new drama, directed by his wife and Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie.
The film conveys a story of a married couple who desperately arrange holidays in attempt to save their relationship.
"We were filming in Malta”, said Pitt regretfully, adding that he “owes” Clooney a present.
George Clooney married the prominent human rights lawyer Amal Alamuddin in Venice on September, 27. Numerous family members and friends attended the glamorous event, including Matt Damon, Emily Blunt and Cindy Crawford, as reported by Mirror.
