MILAN, October 17 (RIA Novosti) — A high-level breakfast meeting attended by Russian President Vladimir Putin, his Ukrainian counterpart Petro Poroshenko and a number of EU leaders have finished in Milan on Friday.
The meeting hosted by Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi lasted for about hour and a half.
German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Francois Hollande, UK Prime Minister David Cameron, European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso and European Council President Herman Van Rompuy also took part in the talks.
The leaders of European and Asian countries have gathered in Milan to participate in the 10th Asia-Europe Meeting (ASEM) summit.
