MOSCOW, October 22 (RIA Novosti) - FIFA inspection commission is leaving Russia content with the level of preparations to the 2018 World Cup, the head of the commission Christian Unger told the press on Wednesday.
"The level of organization that we've encountered has been very high. The quality of information we've received has been at a high level. It helps us very much to see engagement," the FIFA official said.
Unger added that the delegation has not visited all stadiums yet, but noted the motivation of staff . "We leave tomorrow with very high level of satisfaction. I think we are on a very good path," he said.
Since October 16, FIFA delegation and Russia 2018 organization committee were inspecting construction sites of the venues for the 2018 FIFA World Cup. The competition will be held in 11 Russian cities, including Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sochi. Thirty-two national teams are set to take part in the Cup.
