BEIJING, November 10 (RIA Novosti) — A two-day meeting of Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) economies' leaders with the participation of the heads of Russia, the United States, China and Japan, as well as other regional leaders, starts at Yanqi Lake, 50 km (31 miles) north east of Beijing.
Deepening of the region's economic integration, improving the regional infrastructure and promoting innovative development will be on the agenda during two working sessions and a breakfast meeting.
The main topic of APEC summit in Beijing is the formation of new Asia-Pacific partnership, with economic integration, reforms and investments being priority issues. At the same time, other topics, such as Ebola virus outbreak, air pollution, terrorism and corruption, are expected to be discussed.
The APEC CEO Summit welcomes 21 nations to address the most relevant issues and coordinate efforts in responding to global challenges.
