TALLINN, November 13 (Sputnik) – The Estonian government has decided to allocate 100,000 euros ($125,000) to help protect Ukraine's cyberspace, the press office of the country's Cabinet of Ministers said Thursday.
"The funds will be advanced through the trust fund [NATO Cyber Trust Fund] to improve the protection of Ukraine's cyberspace," the statement said.
In September, Anders Fogh Rasmussen, who was NATO Secretary General at the time, announced that several of the alliance's member states pledged to make contributions to NATO trust funds for long-term financial assistance to Ukraine.
In late June, NATO decided to set up four trust funds to finance concrete initiatives in four areas: rehabilitation for injured troops, cyber defense, logistics, and command control and communications.
