MAKEYEVKA (Donetsk region), November 16 (Sputnik) — The trucks from the Russian humanitarian convoy that has delivered aid to Ukraine's southeastern region of Donetsk have now begun moving towards the Russian-Ukrainian border, a Sputnik correspondent reports.
This is the second group from the seventh Russian humanitarian convoy that was split into two parts, with about 50 of the trucks delivering aid to Ukraine's Donetsk region and about 20 trucks heading for the Luhansk region.
Earlier on Sunday, Russian Emergency Ministry said that the first group of trucks that has delivered the humanitarian cargo to Luhansk has crossed the border with Ukraine and entered Russia's Rostov Region.
The two groups of trucks have delivered over 450 metric tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine's southeast.
The previous six Russian convoys have delivered some 8,000 tons of food, water, power generators and medication, as well as warm clothes and winter supplies for the residents of the war-ridden Donetsk and Luhansk ahead of the approaching winter.
