The Russian Deputy Foreign Minister welcomed the participation of senior US officials in the international nuclear conference in Moscow, saying that they would discuss the issues of strategic stability, the work of the "nuclear five," and other issues.

VIENNA, November 19 (Sputnik) — Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov welcomed the participation of senior US officials in the international nuclear conference in Moscow.

"We welcome the participation of Ms. Gottemoeller [Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security], as well as of other high ranking us officials," Ryabkov said upon arrival in Vienna.

Russia's deputy foreign minister will meet Rose Gottemoeller this Friday in Moscow. According to Ryabkov, they will discuss the issues of strategic stability, the work of the "nuclear five," preparation for the next year's conference on NPT and other issues.
