MOSCOW, November 20 (Sputnik) – Europe needs to adopt a "new formula" in talks with Moscow over the situation in Ukraine, Poland's foreign minister said in an interview with Polish television Thursday.
"It is necessary to find a new formula for meetings and dialogue with Russia," Grzegorz Schetyna told TVP1 broadcaster.
He added that since "all previous agreements reached an impasse," talks in the format of the so-called Weimar Triangle "could give new impetus and energy to negotiations".
The Weimar Triangle was established in 1991 to encourage cooperation between Poland, Germany and France. In 2011 Warsaw, Berlin and Paris agreed to form a Weimar Combat Group composed of 1,700 soldiers ready for deployment in crisis zones in 2013.
