VIENNA, November 25 (Sputnik) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Zarif has said after the 10th round of talks in Vienna that the deal of the P5+1 group and Iran concerning Tehran's nuclear program will lead to a serious enrichment program in the country.
"I'm confident that any final deals will have … a serious Iranian enrichment program," Zarif told journalists after the 10th round of talks in Vienna.
Final Nuclear Agreement With Iran Possible After Sanctions Against Tehran Lifted
The final agreement on Iran's nuclear program can be reached when the sanctions imposed on the country are lifted, Iranian Foreign Minister has said.
Mohammad Zarif told journalists that the sanctions imposed on the country did not resolve any issues and should be removed in order to reach a comprehensive deal.
P5+1, Iran Nuclear Agreement Can Change Situation in Region
The P5+1 group of countries and Iran can reach an agreement on Tehran's nuclear program which will be able to change the situation in the region, Iranian Foreign Minister has stated.
"I believe hard decisions need to be made, flexibility needs to be shown by all sides, but I believe that we can in fact reach a solution that will change the course of relations and will change the general picture of our region and beyond," Zarif said.
Iranian Delegation Shows Flexibility at Nuclear Talks in Vienna
The Iranian delegation showed flexibility and sensibility during nuclear negotiations in Vienna, Iran's Foreign Minister has said.
Mohammad Zarif stated that his country's delegation came forth with many ideas, and despite everyone having their own viewpoint on the issues of national security, rights and respect, Iranian negotiators had enough flexibility.
The latest round of talks between Iran and the P5+1 group began on November 18 in Vienna. Five UN Security Council permanent members — Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, China — and Germany were expected to sign a comprehensive long-term deal with Iran by November 24.
In light of the Western countries' suspicions that Iran was trying to build a nuclear weapon, Tehran has been a target of sanctions imposed by the UN Security Council, as well as the United States, the European Union and several other countries. The Iranian government has denied the allegations and said that its nuclear program was peaceful and developed to meet the country's growing energy needs.
