International Media Seminar for Young Journalists Opens at Rossiya Segodnya
02:18 GMT 27.11.2014 (Updated: 02:32 GMT 27.11.2014) International Information Agency Rossiya Segodnya will hold a two-day seminar for young journalists with training courses and master-classes, conducted by leading Russian journalists and experts on November 27-28.
MOSCOW, November 27 (Sputnik) – A two-day seminar for young journalists from Russia, Central Asia, the Baltics and other countries is opening Thursday at the Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency.
Young people from over 10 countries will get an opportunity to attend training courses and master-classes, conducted by leading Russian journalists and experts on November 27-28.

Students will be given different assignments, and will get a chance to discuss current geopolitical issues, as well as problems related to the mass media.
Representatives from the Eurasian Economic Commission will be answering questions related to Eurasian integration.
The seminar is being organized in cooperation with the CIS Interstate Fund for Humanitarian Cooperation.
Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a decree to create the International Information Agency Rossiya Segodnya on the basis of RIA Novosti and the Voice of Russia state broadcasting corporation on December 9, 2013. Prominent television presenter Dmitry Kiselev was appointed the director general of the newly formed media outlet.
