MOSCOW, December 1 (Sputnik) – A Palestinian woman stabbed an Israeli citizen and then was shot by Israeli security forces in the West Bank on Monday, Reuters reported.
The 20-year old Palestinian woman stabbed an Israeli civilian with a knife near the Gush Etzion junction in the West Bank. The Israeli was lightly wounded and did not require hospitalization, the Jerusalem Post said.
The attacker was shot and wounded by security forces. The woman was taken to the Hadassah University Medical Center in Ein Kerem, the Jerusalem Post said.
Violence has risen between Israel and Palestine over the past months, Reuters said.
