BEIJING, December 3 (Sputnik) — Two people have been killed and two more injured as result of shooting in Liaoning, China's northeastern province, Chinese media reported Wednesday.
According to Xinhua agency, a bank officer opened fire at 15:30 local time (07:30 GMT) at an office of the People's Bank of China in the city of Dashiqiao after a money dispute.
Police are currently investigating the case, Xinhua added.
Private gun ownership is not allowed in China, and may be punished by death penalty. Only law enforcement officials and security personnel may possess a gun for the protection of public property.
