MOSCOW, December 14 (Sputnik) — According to JACC, around 200,000 square kilometers have been covered so far, and the future of the search will be decided jointly by Malaysia, China and Australia, AAP said.
The news agency has also stated that last week the families of those on board of the vanished plane have provided the investigating team with the DNA samples to speed up the identification process once the plane is found.
Flight MH370 with 239 people on board was travelling from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing when it went missing on March 8. The wreckage of the aircraft has not been found after months of search over the southern Indian Ocean.
