MOSCOW, December 16 (Sputnik) – On Tuesday, Spanish and Moroccan police arrested seven suspected members of a network which allegedly recruited females to join jihadist Islamic State (IS) militants in Iraq and Syria, AFP quotes Spain's Interior Ministry as saying.
According to a ministry statement, four women, including one minor, and a man were arrested in Spain and two men were arrested in Morocco.
Spain has arrested dozens of suspected jihadi militants and recruiters in recent years, especially in Ceuta and Melilla, Spain's North African enclaves.
