"We believe that the Pakistan government must confront terrorism in all of its forms. And it is taking steps to do that. And I think today is the day when we should really redouble our support [to the Pakistani government] and our efforts and the whole world should do the same," Cameron told parliament, adding that currently British experts are discussing what the UK can do to help Islamabad effectively combat terrorism.
The UK prime minister referred to the news from Pakistan as "deeply shocking."
