MOSCOW, December 21 (Sputnik) – A convoy, carrying Russian humanitarian aid to Ukraine's southeastern regions, is heading for Russia's border with Ukraine, a representative of the Emergencies Ministry told RIA Novosti Sunday.
According to the representative, "a convoy of over 180 vehicles" is carrying over 1,400 metric tons of humanitarian aid, which includes food, medicine and New Year presents.
This is the tenth humanitarian convoy that Russia has sent to the crisis-stricken regions of Ukraine since August.
The previous convoy of more than 130 trucks brought 1,200 tons of aid to the area on December 12.
