The Belarusian Foreign Ministry has confirmed that the next round meetings of Minsk Contact Group will be held on December 24 in Minsk.

MINSK, December 23 (Sputnik) – The Belarusian Foreign Ministry has confirmed that talks on settling the Ukrainian crisis are scheduled for December 24 in Minsk, a ministry spokesman said Tuesday.

“We confirm that another round of meetings on settling the situation in eastern Ukraine will be held in Minsk,” Dmitry Mironchik said.

He added that the meeting on December 24 would be held behind closed doors.
