According to Xinhua, Chan was also ordered to pay a fine of 2,000 yuan ($326) for “providing a venue for drug users” in several episodes between 2012 and 2014.
During the hearing, 32-year old Jaycee Chan confessed to the violations and admitted his guilt, promising to never repeat the actions.
In August 2014, Jaycee Chan was arrested by Beijing police for drug possession after 117 grams (4.2 oz) of marijuana were found in his house and he subsequently tested positive for the controlled substance. Along with Jaycee, police arrested Taiwan film star Ko Chen-tung and a man surnamed Sun, on suspicion of drug use.
Following the arrest, Jackie Chan, who was appointed a narcotics control ambassador by Chinese police in 2009, posted a statement on his official website saying he was ashamed of his son's actions.
