“Representatives of various French political forces as well as foreign states will participate in the event. The Russian delegation will be headed by Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov,” the statement reads.
In the recent days France has seen a series of terror attacks.
On Wednesday, two gunmen killed 12 people and injured 11 in the Paris office of Charlie Hebdo magazine, known for its satirical approach toward Islam. Following a nationwide manhunt, the suspects, identified as brothers Said and Cherif Kouachi, were killed by French police on Friday.
The Montrouge shooter, identified as Amedy Coulibaly, took as many as 15 hostages and opened fire on Friday in a kosher food supermarket located in eastern Paris. The gunman shot four hostages dead before being killed by the police.
Several leaders including Spanish Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, UK Prime Minister David Cameron, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Italian Prime Minister Matteo Renzi are going to participate in the Republican March.
