MOSCOW, January 12 (Sputnik) — French President Francois Hollande will hold a new meeting on national security on Monday, the Elysee Palace said Sunday.
The meeting is expected to be attended by Prime Minister Manuel Valls, Interior Minister Bernard Cazeneuve, Justice Minister Christiane Taubira, as well as the heads of police, the gendarmerie and the security services.
An emergency security meeting was held in Paris on Friday. A series of terrorist attacks began in France on Wednesday, when two gunmen stormed the office of Charlie Hebdo, a satirical magazine, known for ridiculing religions, including Islam in their cartoons.
The shooting was followed by the killing of a police officer on Thursday and two hostage situations on Friday, in one of which four people were killed at a kosher supermarket in the French capital.
