The account states that it will carry updates, pictures and videos from Kensington Palace about the royals and the Royal Foundation that they jointly established in 2009, and through which they undertake philanthropic work to support service people of the armed forces, young people and conservation projects.
Tweets posted thus far give details of a visit by Prince Harry to a graduation ceremony for apprentices taking part in the Foundation's Coachcore project, which aims to improve the quality and availability of sports coaching and mentoring in inner city schools. On Thursday the Palace tweeted that the Duchess of Cambridge is to take part in the opening of an Art Room at a primary school in London, in conjunction with the Art Room charity for children with emotional and behavioral difficulties.
Thanks to our friends at @BritishMonarchy and @ClarenceHouse for the follow! We've got a busy day coming up #Coachcore
