Although experts are yet to analyze the data in the plane's flight recorders, they rule out the possibility of a terror attack as the crash reason.

Inside the AirAsia 'Black Box', How Crash Mystery Will Be Revealed
MOSCOW, January 19 (Sputnik) — Indonesian experts have issued a statement that so far there is no evidence that the cause of the AirAsia plane crash into the Java Sea in December 2014 was a terror attack, Al Arabiya reported Monday.

“Indonesia investigators say no evidence so far that terrorism caused #AirAsia flight QZ8501 to crash,” Al Arabiya posted in Twitter.

The Malaysian AirAsia plane, en route to Singapore from the Indonesian city of Surabaya, crashed in the Java Sea on December 28, 2014, killing all 162 people on board.

Experts are working to determine the cause of the crash.

The plane’s black boxes were retrieved from the sea last week, but it may be several weeks before the data can be analyzed, according to the recovery team.
