Aston Martin unveiled the DP-100 Vision Gran Turismo supercar at the exhibition. The vehicle is not intended to go into production. It was specially designed for Gran Turismo 6.

BMW showcased the M1 Hommage concept car which was built and unveiled in 2008 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the original M1.

The stated speed of the Alpine Vision Gran Turismo concept is 320 kmh. For gamers it will be available in three liveries: white-blue, orange-blue and matte black.

The Porsche Panamericana was designed to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Ferdinand Porsche. It was shown at Frankfurt Car Exhibition in September 1989. Its unconventional and ambitious design sparked furor during the exhibition. Despite the car was intended to be only a concept, it contributed to the development of the 911 Targa and Boxster.

Head of Alpine, a Renault division, Bernard Olivier unveiled the Alpine Vision Gran Turismo virtual concept for Gran Turismo 6. A full-size mockup of the vehicle was displayed at the exhibition.

For the first time, Volkswagen showed the XL1. It is a plug-in diesel-electric hybrid. The vehicle has a streamlined body with no rear-view mirrors which are replaced with cameras. Production began by mid-2013. The XL1 will be available in Europe only.
