MOSCOW, January 30 (Sputnik) — Unknown men shot and wounded a US citizen in Saudi Arabia on Friday, Reuters reported.
According to AP, the man's car came under fire in Saudi Arabia's eastern al-Ihsaa province, which borders Yeme, and that another American was in the car, but was not injured.The injured man was taken to a hospital, according to Reuters.
Saudi Arabia borders sectarian conflicts in Yemen, Iraq, and Bahrain, which is why, according to Reuters, a spread of sectarian conflicts is a concern to Saudi officials.
Previously, one American was killed and another injured during a shooting in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, last October.
