Four books penned by Kenji Goto, the freelance journalist from Japan beheaded by Islamic State militants, have become national bestsellers.
Japanese TV reports that Kenji Goto's book has sold out in a lot of bookstores, new print runs ordered. So that's a nice thing.

The books were sold out in major stores, as well as online following the news of Goto’s beheading. They are currently out of stock on Amazon.co.jp that marked them as bestseller #1.
"We can only continue to tell stories that journalist Goto left behind. Our duty is to publish his books so that children would learn what he wanted to tell them," the publishing house said in a statement.
The Japanese journalist mainly covered the suffering of children in the war-torn countries of Africa and the Middle East.

Kenji Goto, abducted by Islamic State in October 2014, was executed last week. The most recent video released by IS militants shows the Japanese reporter kneeling in front of a masked man armed with a knife.
