French authorities are investigating whether a female fighter, who appears in the latest video released by French-speaking Islamic State militants, is Hayat Boumeddiene, girlfriend of Amedy Coulibaly, who took several people hostage at a Jewish supermarket in Paris and killed a policewoman in early January, CNN reports, citing an anonymous source close to the investigation.

In the video, titled "Blow Up France 2", the Islamic State militants call for more terrorist attacks on the French soil.
"If you fight for democracy, we will fight for Islam," they say to officials, as quoted by CNN. "You will have to accept that we will react fully to the numerous crimes you committed. You took our rights. Therefore you can't expect to be in peace," the fighters warn.
The hostage taker claimed that he coordinated the attacks with Said and Cherif Kouachi, who carried out an attack on the Charlie Hebdo editorial office on January 7, leaving 12 people dead. Boumeddiene exchanged more than 500 phone calls with the wife of Cherif Kouachi.
Ummmm, Hayat Boumeddiene is still on the run. Just fyi. #CharlieHebdo She was allegedly the more radical of the 2, when compared to her bf.
