Yemeni branch of Al-Qaeda stated that one of its leading members, Harith al-Nadhari, was killed in a raid several days ago, according to Al Arabiya.
Al-Nadhari, was one of the senior members of the Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP), a militant Islamist organization based in Yemen.
The group conducts its activities in Yemen and Saudia Arabia. It was listed by the United Nations as a terrorist organization.
