Niger forces killed 109 members of the Islamic insurgency Boko Haram in a battle near the town of Bosso on the Nigerian border. Four soldiers from Niger were killed. The Nigerian Islamic Insurgency attacked two towns on the border, which is already home to thousands of refugees who fled the area because of terrorist group. The expansion of Boko Haram’s reach is only beginning as neighboring countries are beginning to fight back with increased airstrikes.
