A spokesman of the German government stated that the agreement on Ukrainian conflict resolution, planned to be elaborated by the Normandy format countries, would include proposals of the Ukrainian and the Russian presidents.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The agreement on Ukrainian crisis resolution, which is being developed by the Normandy format countries, will include proposals of all participants of the format, spokesman of the German government said Saturday.

“On the basis of the proposal put forward by the German chancellor and French president the work on a possible joint document for the implementation of the Minsk agreements is under way. It [the document] includes the proposals of the Ukrainian and the Russian presidents,” Steffen Seibert wrote on his Twitter account.

Seibert stressed that during the Moscow talks the leaders had a constructive and substantive exchange of views.

The negotiations between German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President Francois Hollande and Russian President Vladimir Putin were held on Friday in a “face-to-face” format behind closed doors. The discussion ran for over five hours. Following the meeting, the leaders pledged to arrange a telephone conversation in the Normandy format on Sunday to discuss further steps toward resolving the Ukrainian crisis.
