MUNICH (Sputnik) — EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini on Saturday called for finalization of an agreement over Iranian nuclear program, as she held talks with Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Zarif in Munich.
"Meeting with @JZarif at @MunSecConf: Need to finalise the talks now. We can't miss this opportunity #IranTalks," Mogherini said on her Twitter account.

Over the course of the Munich Security Conference that started on Friday, Zarif also held meetings with Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, UK Foreign Secretary Phillip Hammond and US Secretary of State John Kerry.
At November 2014 talks in Vienna, the negotiating parties again failed to work out a comprehensive deal, agreeing instead to extend the deadline for reaching an agreement to July 2015.
The annual Munich Security Conference is taking place February 6 to 8. The conference is an international discussion forum to promote cooperation in countering global security issues.
