Police in Georgia are investigating a multiple homicide near Atlanta. Investigators told media that seven people were shot in the incident including children and that five of them have since died.

Among the injured is the gunman who has been taken to a local hospital.

Police were dispatched to the scene around 3 p.m. by a 911 call. They have not released the names of the victims yet as the families had yet to be notified.
