A freight train has collided with a truck in northeastern China in an incident that caused the train's derailment, the authorities said, according to local media reports.
There has been no immediate word on casualties.
The derailment of the locomotive and 11 of its cars took place at 3:30 a.m. on Monday at a railway crossing in northeastern China's Hebei Province.
Police said that the derailment occurred after the truck, which was loaded with iron ore, hit the train after ramming through the guardrail and failing to observe a stop signal.
