MINSK (Sputnik) — The talks of the Contact Group on Ukraine taking place in the Belarusian capital Minsk are postponed until Wednesday morning, the parties are holding consultations on the crisis settlement proposals, the envoy of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) at the Minsk talks on Ukrainian reconciliation said.
"The negotiations are postponed until the morning, the parties went to hold consultations," Vladislav Deinego said.
Deinego added it is difficult to predict the exact time for resumption of negotiations, as everything will depend on the readiness of the parties.
According to Pushilin, the document includes a wide range of political and military steps, as "reality has shown that military measures alone do not produce the desired results."
The Contact Group on Ukraine, comprising representatives from Kiev, the self-proclaimed people’s republics of Donetsk and Luhansk, Russia and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), met in Minsk in September 2014, which resulted in a breakthrough ceasefire agreement between the warring sides.
On Wednesday, the leaders of Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France are expected to meet in Minsk for Ukrainian crisis resolution talks in the Normandy format.
