The OSCE secretary general and the chief monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine will visit refugees displaced by the ongoing conflict in Donbas.

According to media reports, Ukrainian forces violated the ceasefire no less than five times. Three local residents were reportedly killed as a car was blown up near the small town south of Donetsk. - Sputnik International

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Secretary General of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE), Lamberto Zannier, and the body's chief monitor for Ukraine will arrive in the eastern Ukrainian city of Dnipropetrovsk on Wednesday for a two-day visit, the OSCE said in a statement.

"OSCE Secretary General Lamberto Zannier and Chief Monitor of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission [SMM] to Ukraine, Ambassador Ertugrul Apakan, will visit Dnipropetrovsk Ukraine on Wednesday and Thursday to meet government officials and will also visit displaced people affected by the ongoing conflict in Eastern Ukraine," the statement read.

Zannier and Apakan will hold a press conference on Thursday, 13:00 local time (11:00 GMT).

The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission has been deployed in eastern Ukraine at Kiev’s request since spring 2014, when the Ukrainian authorities launched a military operation against independence supporters in the country's South-East.
