London firefighters are expecting to see a rise in the number of handcuff and bondage related problems after the steamy scenes of the new Fifty Shades of Grey film sees its British release this weekend, DPA reports.
“The Fifty Shades seems to spike handcuff incidents so we hope filmgoers will use common sense and avoid leaving themselves red faced," said fire officer Dave Brown, referring to the other countries’ experience where Fifty Shades is already on screens.

Following the 2011 release of the original novel, the fire brigade launched a Fifty Shades of Red campaign, “asking people to think carefully before getting themselves into sticky situations”. The move came after officers had responded to 1762 calls to remove handcuffs and solve even more embarrassing situations.
