A napkin from the Pfister hotel, in Milwaukee, US with the Iron Lady’s lipstick print on it appeared on the web marketplace Picollecta on Friday. The Collectible is estimated to go for £1,950 ($3,000).
According to the letter of provenance, enclosed to it, the napkin was retrieved from a waste basket by an Ohio Theatre employee, where Mrs. Thatcher spoke in 2000.
Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher led Britain between 1979 and 1990 and was the only woman to ever hold the office, died in 2013. She was dubbed “Iron Lady” for her uncompromising politics.
Several of her personal effects were put on sale previously. A signed champagne bottle was sold for £45,000, and prices for her handbags reached up to £65,000.
