"I strongly hope that martial law will be introduced tomorrow," Danilyuk wrote on his Facebook page.
Earlier on Saturday, Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said martial law will be imposed all over Ukraine, if the ceasefire in Donbas breaks.
In April 2014, Kiev launched a military operation in Donbas region in response to local residents' refusal to recognize the new coup-installed government. According to the latest UN data, nearly 5,500 people have died and almost 13,000 have been wounded in hostilities raging through regions of Donetsk and Luhansk.
The leaders of Ukraine, France, Germany, and Russia held a 16-hour summit in Minsk on Wednesday and early Thursday. The talks resulted in a new political deal aimed at stopping the deadly conflict in eastern Ukraine.
The ceasefire between Kiev forces and independence supporters in eastern Ukraine is due to come into force at midnight local time on February 15 (February 14, 22:00 GMT).
