"No shelling was registered after three in the morning," Seleznev said.
"During that time, the regime of artillery silence is generally holding in the ATO [the Kiev-led anti-terrorist operation] area <…> The shelling was not [the positions of Kiev forces] not systematic but was carried out locally," Seleznev said.
According to Seleznev, "Chernukhino was shelled thrice and Zolotoye twice." There have been no casualties among the Kiev soldiers.
Earlier in the day, Seleznev stated that independence supporters have shelled Kiev troops nine times since the beginning of the truce.
Donbas militia officials in their turn say Kiev militants opened fire at the positions of LPR and DPR in the town of Debaltsevo and near the towns of Yenakiyevo and Horlivka and the Donetsk airport.
The ceasefire in Donbas is one of the steps agreed by the leaders of Ukraine, France and Germany and Russia on February 12, during the Ukraine reconciliation talks in Minsk.
Last September, the conflicting sides reached a similar agreement, but the military confrontation in the region has continued.
