Engine failure aboard forced an emergency landing in Russia's Ekaterinburg on Sunday for an Air France Boeing-777 heading from Paris to Seoul, a regional law enforcement official told RIA Novosti.
"The plane landed successfully 1:25 p.m. local time," the source said.
The emergency landing occurred after the failure of one of the engines. There are 290 passengers and 18 crew members aboard the liner.
