A man, irritated by the police actions during a security check in St Petersburg's Pulkovo airport, took off all his clothes together with his belt.

Transport administration of the Russian Interior Ministry in the Northwestern Federal District is currently investigating the publication of a video on the Internet, which depicted a man, taking off all his clothes during a security inspection at Pulkovo airport.

"Currently, this fact is being checked, the actions of the young man and transit police staff will be considered," the administration told local media.

The video shows a young man totally undressing in front of the portal body scanner, and then going through with only his socks on. The police did not try to stop him, as they were clearly shocked by the situation.

The video reportedly captures a 31-year-old airport employee Georgy Myakinkin.

According to him, in the morning he got off work, but on his way, he remembered that he had forgotten the keys to his apartment. He had to return to the airport, where a staff member called the police after his refusal to take off his belt.

"I told a staff member that I did not want to. She responded by calling the police" Georgy said.

"They ordered me to take off my I refused. We were at the entrance to the railway station, not the preflight area, I know the rules. The policeman insisted on me leaving the airport. I got annoyed. I decided to take off my belt together with my pants and the rest of my clothes", he added.

The next day Georgy Myakinkin filed a complaint against the police staff to local the DA office.

After Georgy was informed by his boss that he had become an Internet star, he suggested that the video was posted by security guards. Now the CIO office is conducting its own investigation to identify the person who posted cameras' recording onto the net.
