MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office provided France with additional details regarding the investigation of the plane crash that killed Total CEO, Christophe de Margerie.
“During a meeting of representatives of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation and the French Embassy in Moscow, additional materials were passed on,” the official statement says.
Late January, Russian prosecutors provided France with copies of investigation documents gathered in three moths after the incident.
Christophe de Margerie died when a Falcon 50 business jet crashed after hitting a snow removal vehicle upon takeoff at Moscow's Vnukovo Airport on October 20 last year. De Margerie was the only passenger on board the aircraft. Three French crew members also died in the crash.
