NEW YORK, (Sputnik) – The UN Security Council will gather on Tuesday to vote on a draft resolution on Ukraine, Russia's permanent mission to the United Nations said.
The vote is scheduled to take place at 3:00 p. m. New York time (07:00 GMT).
On February 14, Russia submitted a draft resolution to the UN Security Council approving agreements on Ukrainian reconciliation worked out by the leaders of Russia, Ukraine, Germany and France in Minsk, Belarus, last week.
On February 15, German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier said that the resolution proposed by Russia could help stabilize the situation in southeastern Ukraine.
