MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Rossiya Segodnya Director General Dmitry Kiselev has been included in the new list of sanctions that Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper announced on Tuesday.
According to Harper's official website, the new restrictive measures stipulate travel bans against 37 Russian and Ukrainian individuals, including Kiselev, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Anatoly Antonov and deputy head of the Russian Armed Forced general staff Andrei Kartapolov.
Canada's sanctions also target 17 Russian and Ukrainian entities, including Russian oil giant Rosneft and the self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR).
