The Aero India 2015 Expo kicked off in Bangalore on February 18. During the opening ceremony an announcement was made on exporting Russian weapons. Take a look at our picture gallery of Russian military aircraft which are planned to enter service in some countries across the world.
Russia will completely fulfill the 2010 contract of supplying India with 29 MiG-29K/KUB carrier fighters in 2016, MiG Company CEO Sergei Korotkov told journalists.
"We have six aircraft to be delivered this year, and six more fighters are planned for next year. In 2016 the contract will be fulfilled," according to Korotkov.
MiG-29K and MiG-29KUB carrier fighters are multirole aircraft of the 4++ generation. They are designed for naval air defense operations, maintaining air supremacy and destroying surface and ground targets with high-precise guided weapons in any weather conditions.
The Yak-130 is a latest generation two-seat jet trainer/fighter. It is designed for training flights as well as for combat missions in any weather conditions. The aircraft is capable of destroying aerial and ground targets.

The Yak-130 is comparable in its technical and maneuvering specification to modern jet fighter aircraft which fly at subsonic speed. Thus it helps train pilots for 4+ and 5 generation fighters. The aircraft is capable of landing on unprepared fields.
As of December 2014, the Russian Air Forces operated 34 Su-35S fighters. The aircraft will replace Su-27 fighters in the Russian Knights aerobatic display team.
