WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — US Secretary of State John Kerry will meet Iran’s Foreign Minister Javad Zarif in Geneva on Sunday for negotiations on Tehran’s nuclear program, US State Department spokesperson Jen Psaki said on Thursday.
Talks between deputy foreign ministers from the United States and Iran on the latter's nuclear program will resume on Friday in Geneva, IRNA news agency cited on Thursday the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi as saying.
This week’s nuclear talks follow several rounds of negotiations on Iran's uranium enrichment program between Tehran and the P5+1 group, which includes China, Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, France and Germany.
Iran has been repeatedly accused by Western countries of developing nuclear weapons, a claim consistently denied by Tehran.
