MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The eastern Ukrainian self-proclaimed Luhansk People’s Republic is prepared to speed up the withdrawal of heavy artillery beginning February 24 depending on Kiev’s actions, LPR Contact Group negotiator Vladislav Deinego said Tuesday.
“As of today, Luhansk and Donetsk have pulled back 28 pieces of heavy artillery, which we began back on the 17th [of February]. As of today, we are prepared to intensify this process, but this relies quite heavily on how Ukraine behaves,” Deinego told RIA Novosti by telephone.
