GENEVA, March 2 (Sputnik) – Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry began their meeting in Geneva Monday.
According to previous reports, the meeting will focus on the situation in Ukraine and the implementation of reconciliation agreements.
The event is closed for the media.
Previously, the two diplomats discussed the implementation of the Minsk agreements on Ukrainian reconciliation by telephone on February 28.
According to the US Department of State, Kerry is also expected on Monday to address the 28th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council.
