The senior Russian diplomat said he saw no issues concerning the implementation of the treaty.
Earlier in the day, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Russia was committed to nuclear disarmament and its strict observance under the New START.
The agreement, signed by Moscow and Washington in 2010, envisages the two countries limiting the number of deployed ballistic missiles and heavy bombers equipped for nuclear armaments to 700 and deployed nuclear warheads to 1,550.
Under the treaty, Russia and the United States must meet the specified limits on strategic arms by February 5, 2018.
