KIEV (Sputnik) — US Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken will hold a series of bilateral meetings during his visit to Ukraine on Friday, the US Embassy in Kiev said Thursday.
“While in Ukraine, Deputy Secretary Blinken is holding a series of bilateral meetings with his Ukrainian counterparts to discuss the U.S.-Ukrainian relationship,” the embassy said in a statement.
Blinken is currently on a European tour, which was announced by the US State Department in late February.
During his trip to Kiev, the tour’s final stop, the senior US official is also set to discuss the Ukraine crisis, and meet with civil society representatives.
