Microsoft, Nokia and Oracle have all come out in support of Yandex's protest of Google's market domination.

The FairSearch alliance, which is a business group which includes Nokia, Oracle, Microsoft and TripAdvisor amongst other prominent technology and internet companies, published a statement expressing their support of Yandex’s antitrust case against Google.

Yandex believe that Google have an unfair advantage due to their ability to bundle their own software on Android smartphones.

"Google’s dominance has given it unprecedented power over mobile phone manufacturers, who often have no choice but to agree to Google bundling an ever growing number of its own services into Android. Google has used its power to hurt small and big competitors by attempting to muscle them out of the market," the organization said on its website.

FairSearch noted that Google’s anti-competitive business practices are currently being investigated by eight different regulators across four continents.

In the long term, the European investigation could turn into a copy of the antitrust deal that the EU made with Microsoft, thereby setting a precedent in the mobile operating systems market, Yandex told to Lenta.ru.
